City undergoing modernization, multicultural, very reasonable public transport, different prices for meals. Safe, without much fuss.

Lisbon is a very beautiful city, in the heart of Portugal. You can reach some of the most prettiest beaches in Portugal within less than an hour by public transport. You can also enjoy breathtaking sunsets from one of the many spots called “Miradouro” or having stunning walks by the river.

Lisbon is recognized as an alpha-level global city because of its importance in finance, commerce, media, entertainment, arts, international trade, education and tourism. Lisbon is one of two Portuguese cities (alongside Porto) to be recognized as a global city. Lisbon is famous for its beautiful climate and beaches. The city occupies the 40th place of highest gross earnings in the world. Most of the headquarters of multinational corporations in Portugal are located in the Lisbon area. It is also the political center of the country, as its seat of government and residence of the head of state.

We have tasty food: bacalhau, francesinhas, etc. Our city is full of tuk-tuks which are useful when you are getting to know the city. Our view is the best. We have a lot of highest places where you can really appreciate the view. We are known for the best pastel de nata, a delicious baked good.

Lisbon is a beautiful city that everyone should have the pleasure. It’s a city where there’s the contrast between the sea and the nature, a lot of beaches and a little bit of snow in the north, too. Everyone is gentle, we love to invite tourists to our city and present them the wide array of activities that can be done in Lisbon.

This city has tall buildings, beautiful gardens and delicious restaurants you can smell passing by. One can run outside and get fresh air, and find entertainment in local cafes and bars. It’s a city with an ancient history and a lot to explore. You look into people’s faces and you notice a mix of different cultures and that’s what makes it a great place. It’s diverse and it’s beautiful.

Lisbon is a sunny and charismatic city. There are plenty of rooftops where you can enjoy a cool drink or if you prefer you may nd walk along the river to stroll along or sit and enjoy the fresh breeze in summer. Winters are sunny and somewhat warm and you can still enjoy what the city has to offer. There are plenty of museums and theaters, street art and live music. It is a vibrant city where you will never be bored, but where you can also find a quiet place if you want to relax. The people there are warm and welcoming and will make you feel part of the community… because you will be part of the community.

Lisbon is the second oldest preserved city in Europe after Athens (other older cities were rebuilt after war or earthquakes). It is a vibrant and multicultural city, with around 300 days of sun per year. A city not far from the sea, and with natural beauty, as found in park Monsanto, the Tagus River and, also, 30 minutes from the coastline. Popular among surfers as a “commuting point” to either surf spots north or south from the city. Also, very popular is Sintra, and specifically the National Park da Sintra. There we find Palacio da Pena, a colourful palace, with exquisite architecture. we find Quinta da Regaleira and the well Iniciatico, full of mysterious details, and all comprised in the beauty of the landscape.

Lisbon is the city of tourism! Someone looking to move here should expect beautiful scenery, charismatic buildings and winding side streets to get lost in for hours. One should also take care to have a stable income, as Lisbon’s recent boom in tourism has caused the housing market to inflate far beyond the abilities of most natives.

Before moving to Lisbon it’s good to get some advice from the locals. You’ll find out plenty of interesting things that you would never know about as a tourist. Rent can be very expensive in the city centre, but if you look a couple of miles further out, there are great deals to be had.

Someone who is interested in living in my city should know the majority of it is not actually a cycling-friendly city. However, the most important monuments and historical buildings are all concentrated in a specific part of the city and all within a walkable distance. It is a tourist city and it is worth the visit.

Lisbon is getting a lot of buzz lately thanks to its economic revival and its growing creative and startup scene. The Portuguese are excellent English speakers, so you’ll rarely have any trouble communicating, especially with the younger generations who learned English from an early age. Movies and TV shows are subtitled instead of dubbed. A huge number of Portuguese have worked abroad, especially in the UK and in Luxembourg. It’s often these international Portuguese you’ll be first to meet, as they like to mix with other cultures in the same way they did when living abroad themselves.

The first thing they have to know is that we pass through some difficulties now, so a lot of thieves are showing up. They can’t walk safely at night. They always have to be attentive to certain people. be careful with your phone and any expensive items. Apart from that, they will love the atmosphere in Lisbon and meet a lot of beautiful places like Lisbon’s historic quarters, Praça do Comércio and so many others.
