Lincolnton, North Carolina, is friendly and has many opportunities to get involved in civic clubs for fun, for exercise, and for meeting new people. There are four downtown churches, all of which hold concerts. Artists offer teaching classes, sometimes in the outdoors by the river. Lincolnton is a multi-generational town, so for natives there is much known heritage legacy.
