This is the place that looks like a city but feels like a town. Located just minutes from the state’s capital city and its largest university, Lexington has all the benefit’s a cosmopolitan area has to offer. But once you cross the bridge into Lexington County, you can feel the stresses of the day slipping away. We’ve got it all in Lexington but without the hassles that often accompany the big city. Whether you come to Lexington for a weekend of fishing at Lake Murray, a University of South Carolina Gamecocks football game or a getaway with girlfriends, we have everything here to make your stay fabulous: first-class hotels and inns, gourmet and casual dining to make your taste buds sing, recreational activities to please everyone in the family, and shopping galore – all within a quick drive to everywhere you want to go.
It houses some of the best restaurants. In the city of Lexington is Lake Murray this lake is gigantic and has some of the best fishing. Downtown Lexington is always having fun events for the whole family; Chili cook offs, parades, concerts you name it. Lexington is very safe it has very low crime rate.
