Lekki is a vibrant and rapidly developing area located in Lagos, Nigeria. Situated on the Lagos Peninsula, Lekki is known for its beautiful beaches, upscale residential estates, and growing commercial hubs. Over the years, it has become a sought-after destination for living, working, and leisure activities.

HELPFUL REPORT

Living in Lekki could be expensive but it’s worth it as it’s a place of comfort with a very good road network, electricity is very okay, shopping mall, good security, even market for general purpose. However, church, school and relaxation centers are not left out as all work no play make sunny a dull man.

The water has a reddish hue to it and will ruin your clothes and crockery, you will purchase water for all your household needs except to flush the toilets and it is prone to flooding. It has nice neighborhoods and houses and offers proximity to all the it locations on the island.

My city is a peaceful and relaxing place. The residents are diverse and welcoming to strangers. The first thing to notice about the city is the beautiful landscape. The houses are a bit unorganised but still beautiful to behold.

The cost of living is expensive. In certain areas houses get flooded during the raining season. There is usually heavy traffic when coming to or leaving the area. Some parts of the city is highly developed while the further you go the less developed it is but the cost of housing reduces.

Patience has become a virtue to be desired and envied; anyone who possesses it is held in high regard. Almost everyone in Lagos is in a hurry -motorist and pedestrian.

It is the most populated city in Africa, and is regarded as the commercial capital of Nigeria. As a result, it is not surprising to occasionally find oneself in traffic jams that last as long as six to eight hours.

The weather over here is hot so pack light. The city is expensive, so one has to beware of finances. Also, crime rate and civil unrest is high so one has to be careful. You have to be talented to survive. Everyone hustles day and night. Fame and money keeps the city moving.

If there is anyone moving to my city, Lekki, he or she needs to know it’s a very beautiful city. The city, an island, is surrounded by large bodies of water and it has a number of beaches. The city is also home to quite a number of companies, though rent is expensive.

A person moving to Lagos should expect constant gridlock on the roads. This is as a result of the city’s dense population. However, its nightlife is one for the books. People in the city tend to unwind at night to cool off from the daily hassles. Anyone would enjoy it.

Lekki is an incredibly packed space. One needs to be ready mentally and physically to live here. It requires a tough spirit and a willing mind to overcome the daily challenges here. Being a packed space, a lot of people tend to walk the wrong path but with the lord’s grace and help, we would make the right choices and abstain from evil.
