Lawrenceville is located in Gwinnett County, in the state of Georgia. It is rated as one of the most diverse places in the US and it is also a thriving and growing community. Downtown Lawrenceville has local stores such as the Galactic Quest comic store. The county has taken initiatives to reduce its impact on the environment. It has one of the most advanced water treatment facilities in the nation. The county has taken an initiative to make it so that a park is accessible to almost all its residents, which means that people are encouraged to go outside and enjoy the day.

HELPFUL REPORT

While Lawrenceville is a growing suburban town, it does not yet have many desirable features one would expect of such, especially compared to others in Gwinnett County. For one, the town lacks any substantive form of public transportation; this results in an over-reliance on automobiles and, therefore, an ever-present traffic issue.

Atlanta is known for its bustle. Everyone is on the move even at midnight. There are many sights one can enjoy at anytime of the day, including Centennial Olympic Park and the Atlanta Beltline. Due to heavy traffic, many residents of Atlanta and neighboring cities often use public transportation to get to these sought after sights.

Lawrenceville is an excellent town for those who have a family. It is a quaint but eventful suburban area. We occasionally have events in the town square for every holiday, and there is a lot to do in our downtown. We have a plethora of restaurants that cater to the tastes of multiple people.

A person moving to Lawrenceville should know there are many up and coming establishments. When driving through the city, you will notice many buildings being constructed, such as apartments, hotels, restaurants, and grocery stores. There are always new places to visit and activities to try!

Anyone moving to suburban Georgia should ask themselves three questions. First, if you hate traffic, can you get a job outside the city? The daily commute from the suburbs to Atlanta is often brutal. Second, can you handle the heat? The weather gets intense in spring and summer, with temperatures rising so high that your seatbelt buckle can burn you. Third, how much do you love to eat? Once you’ve adjusted to meals with plenty of comfort food and flavorful seasoning, you won’t be able to leave.

Lawrenceville is in a prime location. It is one hour outside of Atlanta, and 45 minutes from the prestigious University of Georgia in Athens.
