General Santos City is at the south of Mindanao. The city is the Tuna Capital of the Philippines due to its abundance of tuna production. The languages used in this city are Hiligaynon, Cebuano, and Tagalog. Sometimes, people use a mixture of all these languages when speaking.

General Santos city is considered the “Tuna Capital of the Philippines”. This is where most tuna products are made and is exported globally. Locally, people speak bisaya language and is mostly fishermen. In the south of the Philippines, it is also famous for its pristine beaches and breathtaking tourist spots like waterfalls, underwater caves and highland views. Considering the high humid temperature, every tourist is encourage prepare facing a scorching sun if they wanted to make the most of their journey.

General Santos City is the Tuna capital of the Philippines. We live in a place where we are surrounded by seas. People here speak Ilonggo, Bisaya, or Tagalog but mostly, people here are multi speakers. Sometimes tagalog-bisaya or tagalog-ilonggo. Everyone here is friendly and nice.
