Lake Ronkonkoma is a nice place, albeit a tricky one to learn how to spell. It does indeed feature a lake, and a large one at that. Lake Ronkonkoma (the body of water) is a tranquil, picturesque place which is a pleasure to visit time and time again. The town offers all of the conveniences someone would want to have in a hometown, including good access to major highways, adequate convenient shopping, a major LIRR station, and even proximity to an airport which can make long-distance travel much easier than it might otherwise be.

Lake Ronkonkoma is beautiful. Local shopping is close by. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. Everybody is friendly. The school district is great. They are always listening to the parents and do what is in the best interests of the students. I have two parks within walking distance of my home. Great if you have kids.
