Tips for Moving and Visiting

Kroonstad is a small town. Yet, we recently added a mall in the township. We do not have many fun stuff to do like a movie theatre but we have what’s necessary. We have an swimming park that cater to adult, thrill seekers and young children. The ice cream is very, very good. We have multiple clothing stores and we all have great fashion sense. We have 2 college campus’, one in town and the other in the township.
Kroonstad is a beautiful small town where everyone is familiar with each other, it’s filled with trees and historical buildings, Kroonstad is an Afrikaans word that means “crown Town”, a lovely place to retire or build a family, located in Southern Free State, Sesotho and Afrikaans are the most used languages.
There isn’t traffic and people love having fun. It’s all help one another In the communities. A lot of people don’t have jobs because there aren’t opportunities here as much as we would think but we manage and try to go out to other cities to look for jobs and make our parents proud.
