You need to learn a bit of Swahili or Kisii for you to communicate easily with the locals because English is not widely spoken.

The city is located, approximately, 300 kilometres west of Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city. It forms part of Nyanza province and its county 45 of Kenya’s 47 counties with a population of about 800,000. The city is one of the few 24 hour economies in the country and has major fast exchange in money and thus promoting the Kenyan economy.

It’s on a highland area where the climate is suitable for agriculture. The climate is cold and wet. Farmers plant bananas, tea and coffee. The staple food for Kisii is bananas. People in Kisii are mostly the bantus who speak their native language. It is a nice beautiful town.

Kisii municipality sits right at the center of the western Kenya tourist circuit that includes the Tabaka Soapstone Carvings, Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Lambwe Valley Game Reserve and the entire Lake Victoria basin.

Should know how to relate well with people and be generous. This city is quite densely populated and consists of various communities. This city is very peaceful. The weather is favourable and we do not experience seasons such as winter, summer, spring and autumn. We depend on farm produce.

Kisii is the best agricultural town in Kenya whereby the cost of living is low and encouraging. There are prominent jobs in the area making addition income to anybody available easily. Availability of cheap renting apartments and customer friendly land sellers is also a perfect reason for you to live in Kisii land.

It is very cheap to rent a house or buy a plot of land to build your house. There is plenty of agricultural work making it easier for you to access food at a lower cost. Kisii has competent personnel hence your stay is a lot easier.

Kisii is one of the best cities having a good climate and fertile soil for farming. Good transport system for transportation of goods. The city has different tourist attraction sites. Water availability for irrigation purposes. My city offers a good environment for businesses to growth and has attracted many investors.

Kisii is a city in Kenya known for green plantain as the staple food. It is a cosmopolitan city with people from all over the country. It’s mountainous terrain makes it a good site seeing city for low land areas which attracts visitors of all kind for leisure and entertainment.
