Kikuyu is 27 kilometres from the capital city, Nairobi. Kikuyu is a green land with beautiful landscapes among them a dam. The trees in this area make it a cool and shady place. People here are very friendly. Kikuyu is a fast developing city.
It is a beautiful green city with a fishing dam around. It is classified as one of the fastest growing towns in Kiambu county. It has a population of 325,000 people most of them being youths. It is slightly cold due to the presence of the nearby Ngong forest and Ondiri swamp.
