I reside in Kawasaki city in Japan. It is actually termed as Kawasaki shi here. One needs to know what shi means. The term “shi” refers to district in Japanese. Kawasaki is an average city as far as weather, density of population, layout, dimension and food is concerned. It is a medially developed district in Japan.

Kawasaki is said to be an industrial city where a lot of factories are set up. However, there are spots in the city where it’s less industrial and more residential. There are beautiful parks around the city like Ikuta Ryokuchi Park and some interesting museums like The Japan Open Folk Museum. It’s the perfect place between Tokyo and Yokohama. You’re not staying right in the centre of the city and the travel time there is not too bad as well. It’s only about 30 to 45 minutes from Shibuya.
