My city has a very diverse group of people. With four languages dominating the area, we are all inclined to know at least one. My city is rich in culture and traditions. Most people come from rural areas seeking jobs and residence around the area. There is a beautiful mall near the city that was named after a very prominent political hero that used to live in the area.
My city is home to well-known South Africans such as Kwesta, Kelly Khumalo, Rebecca Malope and many others. What’s unique about my city, unlike many other townships, is that my city once had a small airport in the late 80s, however, now in its place stands a metro rail station.
My city is has nice people, the food is amazing, we have a beautiful party scene and we all mind our own business. The city is like any other city (well for most part); we are all just living life. If you know one person, you know everyone in the city and that will definitely come in handy.
Someone considering moving to my city should know that katlehong is a beautiful city rich of history and culture.we have beautiful places where you can relax and socialize with people from all over katlehong and outside.kasi(township) art galaxies where we showcase real raw talent and get the youth to be together and they off the streets.
