Kathmandu is an awesome city. Lived there for a couple of years as an expat and absolutely loved my time in this quiet Himalayan kingdom. Kathmandu is way toned-down from Delhi; the vibe is ‘chill’. Extremely peaceful, extremely friendly, and extremely delicious. Great third-wave coffee scene, so many fun markets, and Labim mall is a great place to go to the cinema. A wonderful, enjoyable city.

If you’re moving to Kathmandu, ear plugs and headphones are advisable at night due to barking dogs and cherished motorbikes. You can find most necessities of life much cheaper than in the west. The views and people are stunning.

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and is widely populated with people from all around Nepal. People come here for better job opportunities. There are many tourism attractions as well like Pashupatinath temple, boudha, Bhaktapur durbar square, Patan durbar square, etc. If anyone is considering moving here, they should make arrangements for their accommodation beforehand.

My city is filled with various cultures and languages. Here, people of different castes live together in a society. It also consists of heritage sites which were popular in ancient period. It is also known for it’s beautiful landscapes. There are no train in my city. There was one but due to some reason, it doesn’t work.

It is the capital city of the country. It is also known as city of temple. The weather of Kathmandu is pretty cool. It is the largest city in the country. The only one International Airport lies here. The city is a bit polluted. People are very friendly. Driving in Kathmandu is a bit difficult as the roads are narrower .

Primarily, one must know the daily public vehicle routes to save money as there will be higher charge on other means of transport. There are also beautiful tourist spots in the city. Thamel is one of them which lies in the Western part of Kathmandu. my city is like a maze so I recommend one to carry a map either physical or digital so that you will not face various problems. People here also cannot speak English so I would also recommend bringing a guide with you. one must have exchanged their home currency to my nation’s currency.

Someone moving to Kathmandu should know it is a polluted and busy city. One should be very conscious about their health and time schedules. Anybody travelling around should cover their face and should leave their homes at least half an hour early to avoid being late because of traffic.

The good hotels here at Kathmandu. And you should not forget to visit Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Lalitpur Durbar Square. If you have enough time, you can have a great tie visiting Pokhara, 204 Km apart from Kathmandu. You can really cherish the beauty of Rara Lake, Fewa Lake, Devi’s Fall, Begnas Lake and more.

The streets in my city are quite crowded so be careful of pickpockets and minor accidents if you are using vehicles. People here are welcoming and would do anything to make you comfortable. When you meet someone, they’d love if you greeted them namaste joining your palms and slightly bowing your head.

Considering the fact that, it is the capital of Nepal; the place can get a little crowded. one should be prepared for loud noises, pollution and traffic rush. Other than that, the city of Kathmandu provides various tourist destinations and is a home to one of the most friendly and helpful people.
