The city which I am in is a beautiful small town. Extremely hot summers. It is also called Tex city since a large number of textile industry survives here. It has a wide range of temples with good ambience. This city is named after a very powerful sage Karuvurar. His holy tomb is also here and open to public for prayers.

Anyone moving to Karur should know about the cultural importance of the city. The city has a great history of the king who ruled in the 900s. The city is also famous for its textile industries that export towels to all over Europe.
