Kanyakumari is a coastal town in the state of Tamil Nadu on India’s southern tip. Jutting into the Laccadive Sea, the town was known as Cape Comorin during British rule and is popular for watching sunrise and sunset over the ocean. It’s also a noted pilgrimage site thanks to its Bhagavathi Amman Temple, dedicated to a consort of Shiva, and it’s Our Lady of Ransom Church, a center of Indian Catholicism.

Someone moving to Kanyakumari must know that people have such a good culture and they will be friendly with others. They often prefer to help others than standing beside and watching them. They also value our culture more than others. Our city is filled with the beauty of nature and people whoever visits here will like our city absolutely.

Kanyakumari is the southernmost part of India. One of the special part of our city is that it contains the junction of three oceans namely Indian Ocean, Arabic Ocean and the Bay Of Bengal. Most people visit our city to see the beauty of sunrise. It contains the very popular statue of thiruvalluvar.

Kanyakumari is in the southern tip of India. Indian ocean, Arabian sea, Bay of bengal all three massive water bodies meet in the sea shore of my city. Also, another main reason is, my city is filled with trees, mountains and rivers, which means it stands for nature lovers.

Kanyakumari is the southernmost town of the Indian mainland. It is on the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Kanyakumari is an all-weather destination, especially known as a weekend destination. It is famous for its beautiful beaches, landscape and above all, it is the place where Vivekananda Rock Memorial is.

Kanyakumari is also called God’s own country, you may guess whether it is Kerala but it is not. Almost me have the same climatic condition as Kerala does. We have lot of traditions, different cultures and even different languages. Most probably tamil and Malayalam. We are a peninsular district surrounded by three different oceans.
