Kannur is a beautiful city in Kerala with historical significance. There are many monuments and beaches and religious place in this city. A major portion of the population resides in urban areas. It has a well developed infrastructure and has many opportunities for Business and Trade. Kannur is known for its spices and food culture and Malabar Cuisine. Moving to Kannur will help you explore the wonders of nature, the long lost history in a modern society.

My city has developed a lot in the last couple of years. A few years back you wouldn’t even believe that products like mozzarella cheese or even syrups could ever come to my place. With the advent in transportation, communication and business my city is developing gradually and will continue to grow. All basic necessities with home delivery are available. The government offices here are efficient. And the community we have here is friendly. You can practice your religion and customs, but ensuring that you respect community guidelines. You can start home businesses too as there are no restrictions placed on it as we see in other places.

Kannur is one of the best in my state. One can find houses or flats for rent at affordable rates. Road, rail and air traffic are available with the recent inauguration of the Kannur international airport. Main bus station and railway station are situated within 100 metres of each other. International airport is only 15 kilometres from the railway station.

they are in for a treat. The city is full of historical monuments and is a politically sensitive place. It is known for its beaches, archaeological sites, museums, forts, lagoons, etc. It is a historical city which is known for different political uprisings and movements against colonial rule and social evils during that period.

It’s a beautiful city with lot to see. There are a lot of tourists place. There’s Asia’s largest driving beach which is the main highlight. This place is usually full with tourists from different part of the world. And no one leaves here without tasting the famous thalassery dum biryani. This is the overall view in short.

My city is famous for its pristine location and awesome weather. It’s also famous for drive in beaches, museums, sprawling hills and handicrafts shops. My city also has some lucrative jobs and welcomes newcomers with open arms. There are renowned educational institutions in the city which offers excellent courses to students all over the country. In the recent years few multi national companies have also sprung up in the city bringing in more jobs for the youth.

Kannur is a district in Kerala. It is in Malabar area and close to Karnataka. There are many famous people from this small district and even current chief minister is also from this District. Two other previous chief ministers are also from this district. There is an international airport in this city.

The main attraction of my city apart from the beautiful nature is the hospitality you receive by the natives of the city. One can get really comfortable here even from day one. Another positive point is the food that cause delicacy in anybody’s mouth. Let it be the dessert or snacks or whatever you name it. Many of the varieties of food in Kerala have been founded from here.

The city where I reside is well known for the hospitality received by the natives of the place. Wherever you move, you can only see people treating you like their own member of the house, especially when you’re an outsider. Another major things about my city is the varieties of food and snacks and desserts which you can only taste from Kannur.

Kannur is towards north of Kozhikode (Calicut, India) south of Mangalore and towards the west of Western Ghats Coorg and mananthavady taluk of Wayanad. Kannur has so many tourist areas such as chootad beach, arakkal Museum, payyambalam beach etc. The most interesting thing about kannur is those living at kannur should know the local Malayalam language of kannur because it is quite different from normal Malayalam.

Anyone moving here must be aware that there are lot of farmers inside. They may not get the essential food items to buy. They should be willing to travel to buy necessary items. Education of their children is not easy. It depends on many factors. Know the climatic changes.

Kannur is a beautiful city, adorned with an abundant coastline. There are many gorgeous beaches and a famous driving beach, Muzhappilangad Beach, that is one of Asia’s largest. The local cuisine is exquisite and it is worth checking out the local “thattukada” for a variety of snacks and any list of Biryanis would not be complete without the infamous “Thalassery Dum Biryani.” The people are kind-hearted and hospitable. St. Angelos Fort, Arakkal Museum, Palakkayam Thattu and Paithalmala are some of the tourist destinations worth a visit.

Kannur is a coastal city in the north of Kerala, the God’s own country. It was one of the ancient trading spot in Kerala. Enduring monuments such as 1500s St. Angelo Fort, once occupied by European colonial forces, show the city’s significant role in the spice trade.  The city was formerly known as Cannanore.

Ooh you had taken good decision that you are moving here. Our city is very big. There are so many shops, markets, and have religious centers for all religion. In city is very calm and attractive because people are disciplined very well. People are friendly to all others.

The first thing a person should consider moving here is that transport is not good in our area and there are a lower number of shops nearby. Hospitals are far from our place and there are no nearby police stations.
