The cost of living here is low but the wage is low too of course. If you moved from a bigger city, you would find it boring to live in Jonesboro. Nothing much to do, nothing much to see but it is peaceful for me and my family. Just go out of town if you want to have fun. There is not much of public transportation here so be sure to have your own car so you can go out and about the small town as you please.

For those that are moving here it is very important for them to know it is a rural area with a few restaurants. They should also know that the area is densely populated and that the people here are very friendly as they go about their daily tasks. Some individuals within the city commute, while others walk. My neighborhood is very safe and secure and it would be a wonderful neighborhood for you.
