When moving to the neighborhood Jamaica Plain in Boston, one should know that the rents are very high here. There is a very large Hispanic population, so it helps to speak Spanish. However, mostly everyone speaks English, so it’s not necessary to speak Spanish. There are wonderful restaurants and great schools here as well.
