Someone who is moving to my city should know that it is not an optimal place to live if you are looking for peace and quiet. It is located next to a military base. Helicopters from the base constantly fly over the city. You can also hear the sounds of gunfire and explosions on occasion.

HELPFUL REPORT

The population of my city has an extremely low median age, as the city is home to the Marine base, Camp Lejeune. Most people in my city are Marines or dependents of Marines. Our city is conveniently close to several beaches. We enjoy a low cost of living in my city.

One thing those moving to this city should know is that, since it’s smaller, there aren’t many places to shop. However, not too far away is a bigger city named Wilmington where there are malls, many diverse places to eat and a nice downtown where you can leisurely walk along a boardwalk.

Jacksonville is mostly military, either active or retired. The countryside is farmland. Growing crops or livestock. We have coastlines, lakes, private ponds. Private ponds are usually stocked with all kinds of fish. Pond owners will charge to fish in their ponds.

Someone who moves to jacksonville should know the area is somewhat crowded. People have traveled from all over the world to work here, since it is a military town. This also means that driving around town may be difficult because of all the different driving styles meshing together. It is important to take extra precautions while getting to know the area.

Someone who chooses to live in Jacksonville, North Carolina should know the sub-par drivers. Not only will they cut you off, but they will honk at YOU for the inconvenience. There are families from all over the world that come to live here, so there is a lot of diversity in driving habits.
