Itogon is a place where you smell the fragrance of pine trees, and where you meet friendly and bubbly people from different provinces. The area is just 20 minutes from the town, people usually ride a jeepney, but some young people prefer bicycle as a means of transportation. It is a fair place for people who love peace.

Our city is home to a mining company founded by the Americans in the 1920’s. Aside from mining, tourism and agriculture are also sources of livelihood. Farmers usually plants various highland vegetables such as cabbage, cauliflower, potatoes and carrots. They also produce flowers specifically roses. These agricultural products are usually sold in Manila and other provinces.
