In the city of Irving, there are many rivers, canals, and lakes. Due to this, there is a multitude of mosquitos. One should always be prepared with bug spray or protective clothing as some can carry West Nile which can be detrimental to your health. Aside from the bugs, there is a vast amount of unique wildlife from interesting reptiles like the alligator snapping turtle, to even wild coyotes. Even with all the people within this metroplex, wildlife thrives if you know where to look.

It is very humid in Dallas County, all of Texas really. Irving specifically is very racially diverse which I like. property is relatively cheap and you get more square footage.

it is very populous in my area. Since there is a lot of people, the air quality is not that great, but good There are many welcoming families in my city and in my neighborhood. There are also many cool places to visit like the Dallas Art Museum or the Glass Blowing Museum.
