You may be able to get by with only knowing English in the capital Amman, but to live in Irbid you must know at least a little Arabic. There are many conveniences in other countries that an expatriate to Irbid might not find as readily available to him/her as they may have in their countries or origin.
– He/She needs to know most people are Muslims and that all people are Arabs.
– Most people they eat rice everyday.
– The wither here is very good -Cool in summer and warm in winter- and any one can get used to it.
– Irbid city is in the north of Jordan and people call it “The North Bride. “
