If you’re moving to Ilesa, you have to know it isn’t a city with skyscrapers. It is a calm town with a serene atmosphere. The people are homely and always ready to help. However, there are no large companies there. It is also an ancient town with lots of old people. They speak Yoruba but more specifically, the Ijesa dialect. They are very respectful and thus, also demand respect. They are also disciplined people. They love Pounded yam!

The city is in Osun State of Nigeria. Majority of residents engage in trading. Mostly practiced religion is Christianity. The dwellers can be described as hard working and hospitable. There are rulers in each community who guide the behaviour and cultural practices in their communities. Social events are organized among communities from time to time.

He or she must be courageous, patient, hardworking, and most of all he or she must be smart and God fearing. Another thing he or she must know is the language because in my city there is a language barrier among the citizen of the state, and if you know you don’t understand our language you have to know the general language which is English language.

It is a place of peace, business grow easily as long long as you have market strategy, though we have different kind of places to visit, like the olumo rock, and view our Universities, though it might not be easily going roud Nigeria but the best part of us is that we are accommodating.
