It’s very small. Very college town. Don’t expect anything to do here but go out to eat at all the chain restaurants. If you like college football, it’s got plenty of that.

Huntington is a city that, though sometimes viewed with disdain due to societal ills and crumbling infrastructure in some areas, should really be considered a diamond in the rough. The city and its surrounding areas are replete with opportunities for diverse cultural experiences, including activities ranging from dirt track races to theater performances. Given that it is also the location of Marshall University, Huntington is a location where educational and career pursuits can be achieved as well.
