Know about the thriving small business in downtown Huntington. For example, there is a small comic bookstore and a doll shop that are run independently. Additionally, the food in Huntington is extremely good. The restaurant Munday’s has impeccably cooked chicken tenders and the pizzeria Little Vincent’s is known throughout Long Island for its cold cheese pizza.

Huntington is a fun destination — a little city and a little country. The downtown is vibrant. Visitors flock to its many restaurants, bars and shops while also enjoying the open spaces. Heckscher Park, for instance, is a popular attraction, with its dog run, sports courts, playground, pond, open-air stage and art museum. There also is world-class concert hall in the heart of the town.
