Hudsonville is a small community west of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Farmers love the area for its lush, rich soil. The use of greenhouses has expanded greatly, allowing the growing season for crops and flowers to extend throughout the year.

The Hudsonville school system is excellent, making it a desirable area for families to relocate to. It is just a 20-minute drive from Grand Rapids, so there are many opportunities to have a thriving career and a relaxing lifestyle.

Hudsonville is commonly referred to as “Michigan’s Salad Bowl.” The produce grown in our western Michigan city is second to none. On a breezy, summer day you can smell the scent of strawberries as the wind passes through your backyard. An agricultural town, Hudsonville is a community that knows the value of hard work.

Hudsonville is a small farming community. It is very family oriented and religious centric. There is no public transportation so a car is a necessity. The weather is very unpredictable due to the lake effect, but that is true for most of Michigan. If you are familiar with Michigan seasons, there will be no major shocks in that area.
