Howrah is a historic city on the banks of Hoogly river. Someone moving here must be aware of the climate (high humidity), common food (bengali dishes) and most convenient transport (ferry). The region is densely populated which causes traffic in most of the areas. ferry service is very popular in Howrah.

Howrah is well-known for its iconic Howrah Bridge. Any person moving to Howrah shall know that the city is densely populated, the roads are narrow and there are a lot of buses and other vehicles. People from all walks of life live here. It also has many great places. Places like Belur Math, Dakshineswar, B. B. D. Bagh and many others give you a high.

Howrah is an important transportation hub. The ity has a tropical climate, with a good deal of rainfall in summers. This city, even though is geographically large, faces quite a number of problems like traffic congestion, population explosion and pollution. We have a bad emigration problem. The Howrah Junction Railway Station is one of the major railway stations in this country, a metro line is still being developed. The Howrah Bridge, also known as the Rabindra Set is pretty famous, as is the Vidyasagar Setu and the Nivedita Setu.

It’s a beautiful historic place. Know the safety. The food is so good that one can get addicted to. The weather is mostly humid and moist, so accordingly one will have to get the clothing. One can travel by walk as well because the city is pretty in chaos most of the time.

they won’t be regretting coming to Kolkata. They will be loving this place as there are many food items available and have many places to visit for fun. They will be heartened by Bengalis sweets. Howrah-Bridge is one of the place they will surely love to visit daily.

As I live in West Bengal the most important fact that know is to speak in bengali or at least one should understand bengali. One can be easily misinterpreted if he/she does not understand bengali. Kolkata being the city of joy is one of the most safest cities of the country.
