My city has a huge industrial sector. Most residents of the city can be seen employed in one of those which makes my city, the industrial capital of the state. The most exciting feature of my city is the climate which is always cold and brisk, given the place is a hill.

A person moving to a town as tiny as Hosur must know the drawbacks and perks of living in the the town. Hosur being the industrial town of the south provides with a lot of jobs. It is also nicknamed”the little England”which rightly describes the perfectly fairytale landscape of the town. the biggest drawback of living in hosur is the weather, the freezing cold winters and warmer than oven summers really makes you question your choice of moving to the town.

Hosur is a place with perfect combination of amazing climate and job opportunities. The weather here is amazing which is why Britishers use to call this place “little england” before Independence. Opportunities to get a job here are high. which fills this place with lot of youngsters with their age ranging between 23 to 40.

This city is a hub to most of the things. You can meet all kinds of people from different states of south India. Therefore, people who are new, need not be confused in conversing with people in this place. They are kind, helpful and understanding. Basically, it’s a countryside and the atmosphere here would make you fall in love with this place.

Hosur is a multilingual town. Basic Tamil and English language knowledge is necessary- Tamil for survival and English for getting high level jobs, though English is negotiable. This is an industrial town, so picking up jobs will be easy since there is an industry around every corner.
