If you’re moving to Honley you’ll need to enjoy village life and not mind walking up hills. It’s a beautiful part of Yorkshire with the countryside on your doorstep and a caring, close-knit community. There are some handy shops in the village, including a small Co-op and some nice places to eat. The local business association organises lights and decorations around the village at Christmas and various community events throughout the year. There’s also a little, locally run library which does lots of fun events for children, such as story reading. Finally, if you like walking there are many pretty countryside trails.

Honley is a very small town. It is in the Pennines, an area known for its remarkable, and natural beauty. Honley hosts several picturesque walks, for all walking abilities. In the centre of the town, runs a beautiful river that briefly disappears underground, before resurfacing at the very boundaries of Honley.
