My city is the capital of uttar pradesh and it is known for monument and also for its chikan cloths which is famous worldwide. The city stands at an elevation of approximately 123 metres (404 ft) above sea level. It continues to be an important centre of governance, administration, education, commerce, aerospace, finance, pharmaceuticals, technology, design, culture, tourism, music and poetry.

Lucknow is the capital of Uttar Pradesh in India. With a population of three lakh, it is a densely populated city, with less settlement prospects. However, it is rich in its heritage and culture. The people of Lucknow, often referred to as ‘Nawabs’, are warm and kind. The city is known for many things, but especially for its food. The delicacies which range from the melt-in-your-mouth kebabs to the tangy potato tikkis are a good enough reason for loving this city. To conclude, Lucknow is a dream city, with people from all backgrounds and religions. It might be slow in terms of development and economic growth, but is the perfect city to lead a life free from humdrum and chaos.

It has a great ancient cultural heritage, though most of its parts have been modernized but it really can provide a sense of a calm and peaceful environment. This city is specifically known across India for the mannerisms and sweet etiquettes of people. If you come to this city then you must learn to speak politely. Without a doubt the food is delicious and one never gets bored with the different delicacies available. It’s also affordable living in a posh area here, compared to many other cities worldwide.

Lucknow is a place where culture and grace is a part of everyday life. If you are foody, then Lucknow is heaven for you. Lucknow is famous for its Mughlai cuisines. Lucknow is famous for its Chikankari work. If you plan to visit Lucknow with sole purpose to see its historical monuments, there are not much historical places to visit in Lucknow. Lucknow is considered the best city because although it is technologically advanced, the cultural ties are strong and the heritage is maintained very well. The city has amazing infrastructure too, people here are friendly and welcoming. Life in Lucknow is quite and calm unlike the populous and busy metro cities of India like Delhi or Mumbai. all the amenities of the metro cities are available in Lucknow – like good electricity, housing – both land and flats.

Someone moving to the city of Lucknow should know about the modes of transport that are available round the clock, autos and taxis being the most insistent type. All modes are affordable and very convenient. Recently the government has flagged off the metro which is expected to make commuting faster and easier. Buses the local city uses run in plenty in Lucknow, on common routes. They are cheap, safe and reliable. Other than that, private buses run for tourists which have a set route for sightseeing and heritage visit.

There are so many things about my city like the culture we have, old monuments and they are worth visiting and the food. The food of Lucknow is famous in India. I feel so alive when I visit places here or try everyday something new. People here are so helpful and understanding.

The city is a place of a large number of Gardens, Monuments, Lakes. All which will take your breath away. It can be broadly categorized into New and Old Lucknow, where there is all sort of modern amenities and reflection of Western Culture in the New Lucknow, so there is the roots of the Native culture “Lakhnavi Tehzeeb” in the Old Lucknow.

Lucknow got the best Non vegetarian recipes and street food. Its budget friendly, you can get a flat even under 1000 in a decent area. It’s still got the roots to villages so you can get some fresh air by just driving for an hour. It’s quite safe city too. And I has the its heritage.

I am from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This city is known for its beautiful monuments like Bara Imambara, Rumi Darwaza, Chota Imambara, etc. there are various administrative buildings.
