Hiawassee, Georgia, is a beautiful city, some even describe it as a little slice of Heaven. Time moves slowly in our little mountain town, not a though it is moving backwards, but almost as though it is slowing down in order to draw your attention towards the beauty in every day. Short trips to town or journeys down less-traveled backgrounds seem like mini-adventures. The misty morning sunrises will inspire even the grumpiest of night owls to wake up a little earlier to experience the crisp morning air. Many visitors who come year after year to Hiawassee eventually make it their permanent home. There is nothing like life in Hiawassee, so come experience it for yourself.
