Tips for Moving and Visiting

Hermitage, TN, is an interesting enigma. It’s a suburb of Nashville but also technically a part of Nashville. You’re on the edge of the city, though, so you get a nice mix of city and country living. It’s also one of the most affordable areas of Nashville to live in. It’s named after the historic home of President Andrew Jackson, so there’s considerable history in Hermitage.
Hermitage is a great place for someone who wants to live close to a city without sacrificing a small-town atmosphere. Though it is only a 15-minute drive from downtown Nashville, the abundance of green space and lack of crowded buildings does not betray its proximity. There is no shortage of shopping or local businesses and any necessity is a short drive away.
