Helena is the state capital of Montana. The city was founded by miners searching for gold. Helena has one ski hill and four lakes nearby for those outdoor enthusiasts. I enjoy the small town feel that this city provides.

Helena is a sleepy, old retirement community. It is a great place to hike, gold and gem mine, hunt, fish, and become one with nature; however, if you plan on building a career, Helena does not have many prospects. Helena does have two rival high schools, and most of the kids have a love of football.
