Haymarket, VA is a little patch of country located outside the nation’s capitol at the edge of Northern Virginia proper. There’s pastoral fields, idyllic little farms, and even a mountain that’s majestic, but certainly unexpected in Northern Virginia. When I moved here a lot of people lamented that I was moving “so far away”, but the truth is that flyover country and cities are all just land, at the end of the day. For those who dare to stray beyond the suburbs, Haymarket offers nature and beauty within an hour’s commute to the city.
