Harlingen, located in deep South Texas, is a quiet town with plenty of shopping centers and stores to choose from. The cost of living is very affordable, and the crime rate is low. Everyone is friendly and seems to mind their own business. I enjoy living here because traffic is not too hectic, and the grocery store is only a couple of minutes away. Their ethnic cuisines are amazing! Harlingen also embraces fitness and the joys of having a pet. They offer plenty of public parks to choose from, with one of those being a dog park. I highly recommend living in Harlingen.

Harlingen is a small quiet city that offers many franchises and family-run business outlets to shop from. What’s great about Harlingen, is the limited traffic for easy commuting and variety of living locations ranging from the peaceful countryside to the convenient option of living within the city limits. There are many public park locations if your family enjoys spending time outdoors. Parks that are available include: hike and bike trails, nature trails, and even a dog park!
