Hapur is an over populated city. It is 50 km from Delhi and 35 km from Ghaziabad and Meerut. There are many medical colleges nearby.

Hapur is known for its Papad all over the country. It has some historic places. Maa Ganga flows near Garhmukteshwar which is a small town of our district.

Hapur is majorly known for its jaggery market. one can see a lot of sugarcane farms near here. there is an old temple of the Hindu deity Shiva that attracts a lot of tourist attention. Also, the bank of the mighty River Ganges passes across the city where people visit the twice a month, on days with religious importance.
