Hanover, NH is a small town on the lip of Vermont and the home of Dartmouth College. Dartmouth employs many residents in the Upper Valley—a section of towns twinned on either side of the Connecticut River—but there is still conflict between the town and the students. There are big stores, like Walmart, in nearby towns like Lebanon and White River Junction, but Hanover has a small, quaint vibe.
