Our city is a wonderful place to visit, it is in lower Himalayas. It is a hill city, with well connected road and transports. People of this city are really humble and honest. Although this city has lowest area in the state, but score number one ranking in literacy.

It is good and refreshing. It has mountains and trees, that is its natural beauty. It is also considered the most literate district in Himachal Pradesh. Hamirpur is mainly a district which consist of several villages in it. People are very kind and helpful here. They mainly speak pahari language here.

Culture and living style of people, environment and religious places. Temperature here is moderate, not very high and not very low. This city is education hub. This city lies in the moderate hills with more cultivation area. NIT is here, former CM and currently our MP is the corporate affair minister to the Indian government.

Hamirpur is the educational hub of Himachal Pradesh with so many educational institutes and colleges. One of the NIT is in Hamirpur. The weather is moderate in the area, not so extreme. But comparative to other cities in Himachal Pradesh, the temperature here is bit high. It is very quiet place. Life in Hamirpur is peaceful and serene. Hamirpur has serenic beauty of Dhauladhar Range of Himalayas.

I belong to hamirpur (hp), known for its education. NIT hamirpur which earlier was a REC college now stood 10th position in all over india. It’s name hamirpur put due to the king of district name Raja hamir chand, a big palace of raja hamir chand is situated in sujanpur. And a big and religious place name temple Deotsidh.
