Gweru is a beautiful city. It’s a city of dreams. As the name goes, “city of progress” one can achieve many goals in it. Although many might find it difficult to reside in Zimbabwe, Gweru is one of the cities that manages to change their minds. Roads are quite good and service is pretty great.

HELPFUL REPORT

It is known as the city of progress, with a reasonable cost of living and multiple entertainment options, including serene nature views and adrenaline filled outdoor activities at private game reserves. For the peace and quiet loving people, there are numerous rivers fom which one can catch a good number of fish.

Be ready to experience sunny weather. For one to fully enjoy being a Gweru resident, he or she must be prepared to take part in outdoor experiences. Walking in forest, going to the park and meeting new people are major activities in the city.

Someone moving to Gweru should know it is the coldest city in Zimbabwe during winter. Therefore it is advisable to visit the city during summer time and should they visit in winter, they should bring adequate wam clothing which includes, warm jackets, warm bottoms and protective shoes, among other items.

If moving to Gweru, one should invest in clothing that can suit all kinds of outside conditions as the weather is unpredictable. They must also be prepared to become vibrant socialites as there is little to do but talk to your fellow man. It is also a good idea to have change ready. Transport prices vary frequently.

Gweru City encompasses spectacular natural landscapes stretching all the way across to the Great Zimbabwe – the greatest African stone monument in history. With that natural African aroma smelt all over the city, Gweru provides the best African experience for any foreigner travelling to the city. It’s people are as soft as wool.

Gweru is the City of Progress. It has rich mining fields for copper, gold, and platinum. It is also rich in agriculture and beef production. The City of Gweru has the Boogie Clock right at the heart of the CBD as its distinctive landmark. It is in the Midlands Province, the heart of Zimbabwe.
