Guildford is a small market town, close to London and with many amenities. Of particular note are it’s cathedral, cobbled high street and decorative town clock. There are many good schools in Guildford and lots of country walks, including the walk along the towpath of the River Wey that runs through the town’s centre.
The principal appeal of Guildford is its setting. On the outskirts of the Surrey Hills, the city offers plenty of excellent trails for hikers and bikers. its enjoys a close proximity to London, while the seaside resorts of Worthing, Brighton and Portsmouth are all easily accessible due to Guildford’s extensive public transport system.
