You will find in Guatemala that there is such a beautiful folklore and interesting history as a background. The weather is perfect, there are never days where is too cold or too hot. The city is a little bit dangerous, it’s a third world country after all; but I think that whoever decides to visit it, will have a great time.

Guatemala City is the capital of Guatemala. It is the most developed city in the country and in Central America. You will find a perfect spring weather all the time of the year. The city is divided in 21 zones, you will find a lot of apartment buildings and residential zones around the airport.

It is quite important to own a vehicle, whether is a car or a motorcycle, this is because the public transportation is not very good. it can be very helpful if supermarket is nearby that way you can easily walk to get some groceries when needed.

Guatemala City can be quite dangerous if you don’t know your way around. Be weary of scammers and pickpockets. Assault and theft are common, especially with tourists.

You need to be an excellent and experienced driver because car accidents are very common here. Life in the city is fast and demands a lot of energy and cleverness. There are many places to visit, but you always have to be alert and aware of who is around you to enjoy and be safe.

It’s a very hospitality culture the one you will find in Guatemala. You will also get very nice weather and you can get winter from the west of the country, all the way to summer going south or west of the country. Guatemala City is a place where you can find lots of things to do from going to the movies, all the way going on a road trip to visit some Mayan ruins that are located 30 minutes away.
