Greenville is an area exploding. One of the best climates in SC. With the proximity to the mountains, you generally have nice breezes and less humidity. The one issue is the area grew at such a rapid pace the grocery stores have a problem keeping up.
Greenville is in Upstate South Carolina. Greenville is filled with opportunity for growth and development of business and career. Greenville is known for the people, and their tight-knit community. The atmosphere is very humble and friendly. Greenville is also a diverse city, filled with both southern charm and a potluck of various cultures, blending together into one beautiful community.
Someone moving to Greenville should consider the weather, the cost of living, and their interest in the surrounding area. In the South the weather is hot and humid in summer, although winters are mild. Living in downtown Greenville is expensive, but if you are willing to drive a little bit the surrounding area has many reasonably-priced neighborhoods and the option of country living close to the city if so inclined. Greenville is a city with many things to do, however it is a small city and does not have the variety and culture of Charleston or near-by Charlotte, North Carolina. On the other hand, it offers easy access to the lakes and mountains for those who enjoy the outdoors. It’s size also makes it less intimidating to navigate for those unfamiliar with city living. It is a happy medium of the variety of the city with easy access to suburbs and nature.
