Before moving to Gravois Mills, know a few key points. It is a tourist town of sorts, there is a non-stop commotion from May until August. You are minutes from fishing, water sports, swim-up pool bars, and more. However, the colder months bring a barren, lonely theme to the little town with not much to offer. Shops and cafes close down shortly after dark and residents retire for the evening rather early. There’s a familiar change that occurs each year. The appeal of summer draws you in and the scenery, silence, and peace are what keeps you here.
