Grande Prairie is a beautiful city. Being located close to the British Columbia border, many people from Northern British Columbia shop here. There is many people of many diversities. The weather is typical northern weather, although the wind can be very cold. Although a population of 60,000 people, the out laying communities cause it to service over 100,000.

Living in Grande Prairie is difficult due to the time schedules of public transit, and the amount of available work in the immediate area. Although beautiful Grande Prairie requires a certain amount of patience when dealing with inner city travel. Be safe and be alert when traveling by foot as well.
