Golden Valley is a high desert. In spring it is awash with orange poppies, magenta cactus blooms, and yellow palo verde blossoms. If you look closely, you are sure to spot long ears of a jackrabbit under a creosote bush, or catch a glimpse of a opalescent lizard slithering under a rock. The nights here are quiet, except for an occasional howl of a coyote or a song of a migrating nightingale.
