One comment on “Godalming”
Godalming is a small town with a beautiful church and a cobbled high street. Every year, the Christmas lights are turned on by a local celebrity. There are several pubs along the high street and each of them gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. There’s also a memorial to Jack Philip, who died on the Titanic, in the nearby park that borders on the River Wey. It’s a lovely town and as it’s only 45 minutes on the train to London, it’s very popular with commuters.
