During the football league season, the town can become slightly busier than usual. Especially on a Saturday or Sunday. The high street has many chained shops and supermarkets, and several coffee shops. The local parks have improved greatly; since the London hosted the Olympics in 2012 any councils have received funding for parks and exercise areas.

Anyone moving to the town of Gillingham, must know it’s a county of famous author Charles Dickens. Also, this town is part of Garden of England. Here we have the best hazelnuts and finest villages. One must visit the town to admire its character and natural beauty. This town has its own railway station.
