Gibsons is beautiful, but the property prices and rental are extremely high. You can not find reasonably priced rental. Living coast are highest in the province. I saw better prices in Tofino grocery stores than here. No big stores, everything is local and expensive. In the wildfire season we smoked in, in the last five years. It is not fun, and if no wind it could last 3 weeks. But usually just a couple of days. Wildlife, hiking, paddling and more, but it is a BC (Bring Cash) place….

Gibsons would be a terrific place to consider moving to, especially if you’re elderly. It has beautiful forest paths that you could take long, relaxing walks on, and maybe even have a picnic. It has beautiful beach scenery and lovely housing along the beachfront. Gibsons is also a great place for active people and dog lovers due to our many parks, hiking trails, and serene beaches.
