I would strongly advise anyone moving to the somewhat ordinary hamlet of Gersau to consider alternatives which may prove to be somewhat more exciting. Though indubitably tranquil and a superb choice for those seeking total solitude and an escape from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis, this minuscule town offers its residents little more than a convenience store which opens at its convenience and a bar, the speciality of which is running out of beer. I suspect that opportunities for social outlet and community integration would be greater elsewhere.
