We have a beautiful river just down the road that goes through the city. It also has a trail just sort of 7 miles long with beautiful views. We are well known for our annual Red Poppy Festival downtown. Southwestern University is also a big deal. As well as our wonderful retirement community, Sun City.

Georgetown is a very modern, though small city. People here are very friendly and are willing to be helpful to newcomers. The streets and byways are very easy to navigate. Many municipal services are available which makes for a high quality of life. All around, it is a good place.
